New Pool Construction

Built exactly the way
you designed it.

Most pool companies show you a catalog and start digging. We start with a conversation, build a 3D model of your specific backyard, and don’t break ground until you’ve signed off on every detail.

Our construction crew has been together for over a decade. They’re not subcontractors — they’re Clearwater employees who take pride in every pour.

Free 3D Design Consultation

Every project starts with a no-cost consultation. We listen to your vision, assess your yard, and produce a full 3D rendering you can walk through before committing.

Gunite Construction Standard

All our in-ground pools use gunite (shotcrete) — the same premium method used in commercial aquatic facilities. It lasts decades and allows any shape you can imagine.

You Approve Every Detail

Finish materials, coping, tile, decking, lighting — you see and approve every selection before we order. No surprises, no “we’ll figure it out on-site.”

Turnkey. We Handle Everything.

Permits, inspections, excavation, plumbing, electrical, landscaping coordination — one crew, one point of contact from pre-dig to the day you swim.

How It Works

From first conversation
to first swim.

Five clear steps, one crew, zero handoffs.

Step 01

Design Consultation

We meet at your home, walk the yard, and talk through your vision, budget, and timeline. No pressure, no sales pitch — just an honest conversation about what’s possible.

Step 02

3D Rendering & Approval

We produce a detailed 3D rendering of your specific backyard. You see the pool from every angle, choose finishes, and approve the design before we commit to anything.

Step 03

Permits & Excavation

We handle every permit and inspection. Once approvals are in hand, our crew begins excavation — typically completing the dig within one to two days.

Step 04

Gunite Shell & Features

Our crew applies the gunite shell, installs plumbing, electrical, and any water features. This is where your design becomes a real, physical structure.

Step 05

Finish & First Swim

Interior finish, tile, coping, decking, equipment startup, and final inspection. We walk you through everything before you take that first swim.

Renovation & Remodeling

Already have a pool?
Let’s make it new.

You don’t need to tear out and start over. Most aging pools benefit enormously from targeted renovation — new surfaces, modern tile, and upgraded equipment can transform a tired pool for a fraction of new construction cost.

We assess your pool honestly and recommend only the work that makes a meaningful difference. No upselling, no unnecessary scope.

We got quotes from three companies. Clearwater was the only one who took the time to actually model our backyard before giving us a number. They earned our business in that first meeting.

Common Questions

Frequently asked questions

Most in-ground gunite pools take 8–14 weeks from permit approval to final inspection, depending on complexity, weather, and inspection scheduling. We provide a written timeline at project kickoff and keep you updated throughout. Renovations typically run 1–3 weeks depending on scope.

The starting price covers excavation, gunite shell, plumbing, electrical, a standard interior finish, basic coping, and equipment (pump, filter, heater). Custom shapes, spa additions, water features, premium finishes, decking, and lighting are priced separately. We build every quote line-by-line so you know exactly what’s included.

Yes — completely. We pull every permit, schedule all required inspections, and manage the city approval process on your behalf. You don’t have to visit a single municipal office.

Absolutely. Spa additions start at $12,000, individual water features from $2,500, and lighting packages vary. We design all of these into the 3D model upfront so you see the complete picture before committing.

We provide a one-year workmanship warranty on all construction and renovation work. The gunite shell itself carries a lifetime structural warranty. Equipment warranties vary by manufacturer (typically 1–3 years). All warranty terms are included in your contract.
